Oral hygiene and dental care are essential to your body’s health. We want to ensure our patients get the treatment they need without the anxiety they would normally feel during a visit.
For in-office sedation dentistry we offer Nitrous Oxide, which is a blend of two gases, oxygen and nitrous oxide. It is administered through a small breathing mask which is placed over the child’s nose. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recognizes this technique as a very safe and effective technique to use for treating children’s dental needs. The gas is mild and easily tolerated. While under Nitrous Oxide, your child remains fully conscious and keeps all natural reflexes.
For kids with extensive dental needs and anxiety, Dr. Adam can treat them under General Anesthesia at the Ball Outpatient Surgical Center. Under General Anesthesia all dental treatment can be completed in one appointment.
